- Leaving A Legacy Part 2
Sep 4, 2019 • 1h 12m
Every generation is expected to leave a legacy that will outlive them. What you do with your time, will determine the kind of legacy you leave behind. Esther 10:2-3, Esther 9:27-28, Psalm 22:30 Sometimes the expectations of your life is not commensurate with the results you get. Don't be discouraged. God is not done working. Learn to take a stand for what you believe. Your legacy depends on it. Esther 3:2 God will lift you up only after removing every obstacle in your path. Stand faithful. Esther 8:1 Your actions of faithfully standing for God will in the fullness of time create an opening for others. Esther 8:16 Everything you have is not about you. You have been given more to create opportunities for others. Be aware. Esther 10:3

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo bringing us God's word this morning tagged; Leaving a legacy. We need to take eternity seriously. As we are investing in old age, let us also invest in life after death. What you believe determines where you spend eternity, how you behave determines how you will live in heaven. Invest for when you're dead having eternity in view. We all won't live the same way in heaven. There is a reward for service. Every organization has a reward system. There are two judgments. The first is about those whose names are in the book of Life or aren't, to separate those who will make heaven and those who will go to hell. Revelation 20:11- 15 The second is the judgement of Christ (the judgement of the reward) Revelation 22: 11 - 15, Matthew 16:24-27 The first judgement is the white throne judgement. Here, we will all be judged to determine whether or not we will make heaven or hell. The second is the judgement of Christ. Christ comes to give reward to those who have already made heaven, according to their works.

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo ministering: The 5 Things That Can Make You Happy. 1. Managing what you have versus what you need. You should go more on enlightenment than entertainment. Focus on edification. 2. Learn self-control. You have a choice between self-control and no control. You can't do anything you like because some of them have repercussions you won't like. God put boundaries not to limit you, but to safeguard you. Else, you'll self destruct. 3. Self-centeredness and Selflessness. The world system tells you to focus on yourself. Selfishness is our first tendency but doesn't bring happiness. Selflessness would bring you so much joy. 4. Worrying vs Resting (Matthew 6:25) Most people's anxiety comes from worrying about themselves. Anxiety has got nothing to do with reality. Anxiety won't allow you to receive from God. Don't worry about anything, pray about everything. (Philippians 4:6,7) 5. Purpose vs Profit. God wants you to work for your purpose and not for profit. When you work for the purpose, you get paid twice. You must seek to find why you're created. Don't confuse your career for your purpose. There's something inside you, yearning for expression to impact the world, don't let it die.

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo ministering: There is no bad temperament; all temperaments are needed in this world for a proper balance. In marriage, choleric are drawn to phlegmatic, while melancholy, are drawn to sanguine. The best career for Sanguine: Marketing, fashion, PR, comedy, customer service, preachers, MCs... Choleric: Engineering, lawyers, activists, management, Tech, politics, business owners, supervisors. Phlegmatic: Nurses, teaching, psychologists, counsellors, child development, charity, Melancholy: Management, accounting, social work, administration, research, art, doctors, surgeons, musicians Most people have a blend of both temperament (primary and secondary) How Do You Tackle Your Temperament Weakness? 1) first note what your weaknesses are. If you can't identify it, you can't deal with it. 2) put a structure to help that weakness; partner with people motivated in that area. Hire your weaknesses 3. Yield to the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23) 4. All the fruits of the Spirit are things that counter the weaknesses of all temperaments Learn to practice the word of God 5. Always have people that can speak into your life.

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo ministering: The basic principle for living, which is given by God, is called WISDOM. Proverbs 3:16-18. Matthew 7:24 Anybody can be brilliant or intelligent, but not everyone can be wise and happy. The wisdom of God is in the Bible. Therefore, anyone who applies the word of God to his/her life is wise and would get lasting happiness. Philippians 4:6 ; 2 Corinthians 10:12 ; 3John 1:2; God wants you to prosper, no matter where you are now. It is foolishness to be comparing yourself with someone else. Your timing is not theirs, neither has God set yours with another. Ecclesiastes 2:1 - 26 (NIV) 2. Don't consume more than you require. A lot of things that are making us worry, or creating a picture of happiness in our heads, won't make us happy on the long run.

𝓨𝓞𝓤𝓝𝓘𝓥𝓔𝓡𝓢𝓘𝓣𝓨 PART 3B Life is controlled by the pursuit of happiness. It's either you are chasing happiness or you are doing things that will remove unhappiness for your life. Though chasing happiness is important, the way you go about it is more important. Luke 12:18 - 20 (kjv) Happiness can paint a lot of pictures to you that are not true. Many things can promise you happiness but when you get it, the happiness will not last. If you chase happiness the wrong way and end up being unhappy. who or what is influencing your life? Everybody is influenced by something or someone. You can be influenced by people around you or people ahead of you. Note that we’re all pilgrims (just passing through). So asking a fellow man how to live is a gamble; he can only give you the guesswork. (1 Peter 2:11) A creation trying to describe the creator can never be accurate; you need to ask the Creator (God). You can be influenced by your own thoughts. Another wrong way to go is by drawing from your own thoughts; truth is you’re too small to be the one directing you. As a pilgrim, the best way to go is by asking the owner of life. The greatest and best influencer is God our creator. If you really want to be happy, follow the way and instruction of God. Your happiness can not depend on: 1. Other people: This is because you can't control their reactions. Jesus never lived for people because He understood people. If you don't have a strong identity from God, people will make you become what you are not supposed to. If you really want to be happy; follow the wisdom of God as can be found in scripture; It may not always happen the way you think because sometimes God might lead you to go in a certain way which may be unconventional but that is where your happiness will be found Peer pressure doesn’t respect age; there are a lot of old people chasing the wrong things because of peer pressure. Your happiness can't be tied to another person. The person you're trying to impress for validation are not even happy with themselves. If you want to be happy, start reading the bible and obeying it. You must be able to differentiate what is popular from what is right. Freedom doesn’t mean being able to do what you want, rather it means being able to do what is right.

- Maximizing Time Part 3
Jul 17, 2019 • 1h 14m
Welcome to Midweek Service. Pastor Kingsley concludes the Midweek Service series on how to manage your TIME. Time is the currency of life. Equally given to all. Refreshed daily without discrimination. There is always a right time to do something. It is not every time that is the right time. Time is always given to accomplish a purpose. Ecclesiastes 3:8 You don't save time, you instead spend it wisely; allocating it to the right things. You don't have the whole of your life to make the most of your life. Spend time wisely. The Rules to Maximizing Time. 1. Spend it on spiritual development because it is the foundation of all other aspects of life; giving you leverage over the natural. 1 Timothy 4:8 2. Spend your time on developing vital skills that will amplify your brand and give you a competitive edge. Ecclesiastes 10:10 These are the skills you can't do without, in your own life. Identify what is a vital skill for you. It saves you time because, you'll be so good at it, that people see you as an expert and pay you for your expertise, and not for the act in itself. It will give you an edge over your peers. 3. Spend your time on developing vital relationships to help you create connections that will better your life. Another vital skill is money-making and management skills. Being broke as a boy or girl drastically reduces your options. 4. Spend time investing in your subordinates. It will help you acquire more time to do other relevant things. Tips to maximizing time: 1. Be where you are per time: Concentrate and participate fully in your present location. Do away with distractions. 2. Not everything deserves your time. Be particular about what you decide to partake in or not. 3. Avoid procrastination: Doing away with a chore weighs on you mentally and adds to tomorrow's work. 4. Leverage on Technology: This helps save time and resources on different aspects of your life. 5. Protect your time: avoid time-wasting ventures by allocating time to various things ahead. Thank you @kingsleypst for a timely message.

The Baptism Of The Holy Ghost Pt. 2 (Benefits) This are a lot of hidden treasures in the baptism of the holy spirit. It is an equipment God has given us to live successfully on this earth. The benefits of praying in the Holy Ghost: 1. Effective prayer: You’ll only pray by guessing if you are praying in your understanding. You’ll be in the dark as regards what to pray for if you only pray in your understanding. (Romans 8:26-27) You can never know what to pray for as a natural man. Our prayers are only answered when we pray according to God’s will. - (1John 5:14) Praying only in your understanding limits you and God is usually not always committed to it. There are many times when all we need to do is to pray in the Holy Ghost. Speaking in the Holy Ghost is an upgrade to spiritual language. 1 Corinthians 14:14-17, Acts 10:45-46 Effective prayer happens when you pray in tongues. 2. It Edifies You: (1 Corinthians 14:4) When you pray in tongues you charge up your spiritual life. Not praying in tongues leaves you cold & unfired up. Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Building up our faith by praying in the Holy Ghost clears every doubt and worry we have. 3. It Helps You Become More Yielded To The Spirit: As believers the real battle we fight is the battle against spirit and flesh (feelings). 4. It Gives You Access To Mysteries: What’s going to be isn’t always going to be except you take it up and we only know what these things are when we pray in the Holy Ghost. There are mysteries about our life that can only be accessed by praying in the Holy Ghost. (1 Corinthians 14:2) 5. It Gives Us Access To Our Spiritual Gifts: Acts 19:1-6. We all have spiritual gifts, but we’ll never realize our spiritual gifts if we don’t pray in tongues. 6. It Helps To Build Character: If you’re struggling with your character it’s because you’re not spending time praying in tongues. Your Christianity is powerless when you’re "prayer less". Your struggle with sin reduces when you pray in the Holy Ghost.

- The Baptism Of The Holy Ghost Part 1
Jul 7, 2019 • 45 min
Praying in tongues is one of the mystery God gave believers to triumph of the earth. You might never fully actualize your full potential without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We need to be baptized with the Holy Ghost. That is where our power lies as a believer. The word Baptism is from the word Baptiso.. it means to be immersed.. For water baptism, you go fully into the water (immersed). It must cover you. Signifying death and Resurrection in Christ Jesus. When you become born again, you need to get filled and baptised with the Holy Ghost. You have a measure of the Holy Spirit but you need to be filled and that's where Baptism comes in. Mark 16:17 As believers, we have authority. We are devil chasers. We need to know who we are in God. Speaking in tongues is one of the signs that you are a believer We have many church goers not disciples.. We cannot be ashamed of praying in tongues. There is a difference between the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Every believer has the holy spirit inside but to be filled with the holy spirit is pray in tongues and have a personal encounter with the holy spirit. (John 14:17, Acts 1:5, Acts 1:8, Acts 9:17) The Christian journey was never intended for us to do with our own strength. We need the Holy Spirit to help us through. We cannot be praying only with our understanding. 1 Corinthians 14: 5-18. A Christian that prays in tongues can never be stranded. Can never lack inspiration and direction. 1 Corinthians 14:39 You need to have a personal experience with God. You need to know him for yourself. Not just what somebody tells you about him. When you have that experience, you life will not remain the same. Acts 1:14-15 God will judge you by His word, not anybody else's. You are who God says you are. Not what astronomy says you are. Your identity comes from the word of God. Whatever is not in the Bible is not applicable to you. Whatever you hear that is not based on the word of God, throw it away. It is just an opinion. Acts 2:3-4. Speaking in tongues is not conjuring and talking whatever you like. The Holy Spirit gives you utterance. The Bible is complete. All your questions are answered in the word..
- Value Of Time (Midweek Service)
Jul 5, 2019 • 48 min
Life consists of minute values of time slots given to everyone daily. It is your prerogative to use it judiciously or redeem it effectively. Life is a currency that is to be converted to whatever you need. Genesis 8:22, Psalm 90:12, Ephesians 5:16 God gives everyone equal amounts of time but the disparity we see in how people thrive is in how they used their time value.
- Reverse The Curse Release The Blessing Part 5

Sermon: Reverse The Curse Release The Blessing Part 5 Sermon by: Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo Every promise of God has the ability in itself to bring it to pass. The word of God is referred to as a seed because it has life in itself to produce. Galatians 3:9 -14 Through Jesus Christ, the blessing of Abraham is every Christian's inheritance. Genesis 12:2 -3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. The blessing defends. There is a vengeance part of the blessing. God defends His people. Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 20:2 - 3 God fought for Abraham and his family at all times, even when he made mistakes. Twice Abraham lied that his wife Sahara was his sister. The kings took her but God always stepped in and fought for him. Numbers 23:8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied? You cannot curse whom the Lord has blessed. Job 1:10 Hast, not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. Job was not aware of God's coverage over Him and what he feared came upon him. Job's fear broke the hedge and the serpent attacked. God can never curse anybody, but we can expose ourselves to curse by the engaging in immortality (maltreating your wife, stealing, sleeping with another's spouse, not tithing ...). Confidence in the blessing is crucial. It is not enough to be aware of The blessing upon our life, but we must also believe in its potency and it will be manifest in our life.

Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo ministering. Subtitle: WHY GOD BLESSES. Text: Genesis 12:3 You're blessed to be a blessing. (Deuteronomy 28:13) Anybody connected to Jesus Christ, through salvation, is blessed already. (Psalm 1:3) Do something with the blessings you have. Truth the blessings to supply the creativity. The blessings advertise. As a believer, you should always be on standby, to know when God wants you to give out certain things. God wouldn't bless you for you, HE is blessing you for others. Always see yourself as a channel, not an endpoint.
