We came by creation not evolution. This means there is a creator who we are accountable to, for we are created with a purpose.  The character of God is holy and He wants mankind to live in a certain way. He is not erratic. He works by principles.  The first time man ever sinned, God did not punish him. When he sinned, God made the first sacrifice by killing animals, shedding their blood and using their skins to cover Adam and Eve.  God is not sending people to hell. He is saving them from hell. The price for sin had to be paid in full  and no one could pay it.  What makes hell bad is not because the fire is hot but because God is not there.  God developed a grand plan and brought His son Jesus to die for us and pay the price of sin so we can forever have the opportunity of being with God in this life and in that to come.  Is Jesus The Only Way?? Jesus is the only way because of the following facts; 1.Jesus is the only person that throughout life there were similar prophecies about his coming like Jeremiah, Isaiah, Moses, Abraham, etc. 2. Part of the prophecies is that He will be born by immaculate conception. 3. Jesus lived here on the earth and also claimed that He was without sin - (Hebrews 4:15). 4. No other person has prophesied that he would die and how he would die. 5. He also said that he would resurrect. Christianity is not based just on the Bible but on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. God cannot behold sin because He is holy. Christ had to pay for all our past and future sins - (Matthew 27:46). Now God sees us as Christ not as who we are. We are IN Christ. Sin is a spiritual thing. You cannot physically pay for it. Physical acts of goodness to cover sin cannot pay for sin. Jesus conquered death. This is the only issue that mankind cannot resolve - (Matthew 17:22-23). What makes Christianity the only way to God is because Jesus died and rose again and promised us that we will rise again after death. No other person has promised this. He is not here for He is risen!!! Jesus is alive!! - (Matthew 28:1-20). We believe not just because it was written but because these things happened. They were real people.  Jesus was seen by people who knew him after he resurrected - (Acts 1:3). Today would be a perfect day to give your life to Jesus Christ. He loves you and gave Himself for your sins, so you can come boldly to God. Accept the free gift of salvation from Jesus this moment.  He’s waiting. -- Say this prayer  with your hand on your chest.  Lord Jesus, come into my heart. I accept you today as my lord and savior I. Forgive my sins and wash me with your blood. I receive the grace to serve you all the days of my life. Thank you father for I’m born again. In Jesus name. -- Congratulations!! The blessings are the manifestation of The Blessing upon our lives. It’s God’s goodwill and good deeds being with us. It’s a supply of God’s possessions to us. The Impact of The Blessing (Proverbs 10:22; Job 1:10; Isaiah 51:1-2). Wherever you see Blessing, increase must follow. (Genesis 26:12-14; Genesis 30:27-33,43). Whenever there’s the blessing, it makes us rich. You will not only increase but you will increase exceedingly. You have to have the blessing mentality - (Psalms 1:1-3). Assignment: Read Deuteronomy 28 to understand more of the blessings and the curses (things that shouldn’t be in your life). It is possible you have the blessing but you are not using it. The blessing needs to be activated through the following: 1. The Blessing mindset - (Psalms 1:1-3). 2. Obedience - (James 1:25). 3. Giving. 4. Salvation. 5. Being a blessing to others - (Genesis 12:2). 6. Having a higher spiritual authority speak over your life - (Genesis 27:26-29). 7. By tithing: We tithe because we are connected to Abraham’s blessing, not Moses’ - (Genesis 14:20; Malachi 3:9-12). You don’t give your tithe to the poor. Your tithe is holy. You give it upwards not downwards. Speaking the Blessing is the authentic way designed by God for the Blessing to pass from generation to generation - (Hebrews 7:6-7; Hebrews 11:21). You cannot cajole God. Obedience is better than sacrifice. You have to walk in obedience. Jacob activated the blessing by tithing - (Genesis 28:20-22) You don’t tithe from what is left. You tithe first so what is left is blessed. The tithe is your first 10%. Things would have been rough for Jacob if not for his relationship with God - (Genesis 31:41-42). Tithing is a covenant between you and God and whenever you keep your side, God keeps his side - (Genesis 31:10-13).

(Romans 4:6-8) People often feel that when they're not living up to God's standard, He abandons them. This is not the case.  God is a just God. Our sins were punished, but Jesus atoned for them so that we wouldn't be charged for them.  Since time immemorial,  God has always covered and saved man. (Genesis 3:21) Every attempt by man to cover sin has never ended well.  God did not just forgive your sins of the past, His redemption covers the future as well.   It is the consequences of sin that you suffer, not God's wrath.  You need to consistently live in the consciousness of what Christ has done and our standing with God. (Ephesians 1:19-21; 2:1-6, 1 Corinthians 2:12)  We're not slaves, but sons who have an endearing relationship with the father. We are now co-heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:15-17)

But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law he meditate on day and night. (Psalm 1:2) - When you have the blessing mindset, you'd look like the tree planted by the rivers of waters and bringeth fruit in all seasons. What  that means is your present situation, condition or environment has no  direct effect on what God can do with you, on you and for you. (Psalm  1:3) - Wherever there's God's blessings, there's always an  increase. What that means is, when you walk in God's blessings, increase  in inevitable. Topic: How To Activate The Blessing You can say to yourself - “I CAN NEVER BE POOR!!” Psalms 37:25 The Blessing is the empowerment of God upon a human being. It makes everything flourish. You are empowered by God to succeed. How To Activate The Blessing 1.  By your mindset: The first thing you need to change in your life is  your mindset from the miracle mindset to the Blessing mindset. We can  see this from your actions. 2. By Obedience: What is the Spirit of God telling you? Also, the things written in scripture. Psalms 1:1-3, James 1:25 Obey the word from the scriptures. Your obedience is superior to your prayers. Obedience is better than sacrifice. 3. By Salvation: This brings you into the blessing Genesis 12: 2-3. Galatians 3:13-14 4.  By Giving: Acts 20:35. It is more blessed to give than to receive. The  blessing is activated when you’re giving not when you’re receiving. You  should be happier when you’re sowing than reaping. There’s more blessing  when you give it than when you keep it. When you sow it, it is  unlimited in what it can be. Effects of The Blessing Proverbs 10:22 If you have the blessing you cannot be poor. When you’re blessed, the consequence is increase. Job 1: 9-10 Whenever you’re blessed, increase is sure. Wherever you see the Blessing, there must be increase and multiplication. Job 1: 1- 3. Job 42:10-12 Job was blessed twice more than before he lost everything. He got double of everything he lost. The Blessing is that specific. Give priority to the word of God not your hustle. Focus on God. The only time you can be broke is if God had gone on break. Your mind determines your life. If you have a natural mindset, you’ll suffer. If you have the Blessing mindset, you’ll prosper. Psalms 1:1- 2 The person that censors what he hears is blessed. Your behavior is a pointer to where you’re going. When you sow, you’ll trust God that the time you’ll need it the most is when your harvest will come. Money is a good way to measure your freedom in God. Whatever money shakes you in your giving is where your limit has reached.

Pastor Lanre Onasanya bringing us God’s Word tonight. 1 Peter 1:23, 1 Peter 2:2 To be born again is to be born by the Word. You conduct your affairs by the word. The Word also nourishes you to grow. You have authority over the devil by the Word. If you don’t know The Word you , you have no idea the authority you carry. If you don't know the word you will end up praying for things you should take authority over. Jesus didn't pray over the storm, He spoke to the storm. In trying to be humble we may mess up our rights and privileges. What the devil fights is our knowledge to keep us in darkness. Acts 20:32. The word will build you up and give you an inheritance. If you don't give attention to the word you won't know what's in your inheritance. Abraham was great because God blessed him. Gen 12:1-3 The blessing of God is invisible but it’s impact is tangible and visible Abraham, Isaac, Jacob were all heavily blessed. Abraham transferred the blessing to Isaac (Gen 26). Everytime Isaac searched for water he got water because of the blessing even in a dry season. In famine he harvested a hundred fold. Galatians 3:16 Joseph was sold as a slave with nothing, no shirt on his back but everything he touched became a blessing. Even in prison he was still blessed. Joseph went into Egypt with nothing but the blessing and he became the prime minister. Galatians 3:16 God kept blessing Abraham and his seed and not seeds. Everytime God blessed Abraham, Christ was present standing in the queue for us for the blessing. Gal 3:16-18 The covenant God made with Abraham could not be cancelled 430 years later. When God blessed Abraham there were no conditions attached, with Moses it was all about the law. You can't keep a blessed man down. Stop telling yourself oh God help me because God has worn you a blessing. Gal 3:14 Gal 3:27 The blessing of the Lord makes me rich, it adds no sorrow. The riches aren't just money. It is all round prosperity; health, career, marriage, academics. God thought Abraham how to meditate, He told Abraham to look at the stars. The law of imagination and focus. You can’t take from a man what he got from the Word. Let the Word be your employer. You should study the Word whether or not you are in the mood. To acquire a taste for the Word, you must be discipline with the Word. John 1:4 The Word gives prophetic vision. Everyday / event in Your life is outlined in The Word. The Word of God opens your eyes, it illuminates. Sight is the most powerful thing on earth. If you see a thing, you have it. Pray for prophetic insight into the Word. James 1:22-25 God changes a man. If you can change, your world will change. Look into the Word continuously and do the work ( see something in the Word and keep it regardless of what the world says) and you will be blessed. Hebrew 10: 35 -38 God expects us to live by faith. It is the way we can please God. God is trilled when we work by faith. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. When you pray, believe that you have received it and you shall receive. Mark 9:23, mark 11:23 Faith is how we make the impossible, possible. It is how we move mountains. Faith is how we walk. We walk by faith not by sight. Faith is evidence. The evidence of faith is God’s Word to you. When you confront any challenge, faith (God’s word) is your evidence to overcome Faith comes by hearing, be careful what you hear. God is no respecter of person, but a respecter of faith. How does faith work? Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing. In other words, faith is the Word of God. 1 John 5:4 Faith is the victory the overcomes the world. If you want to enjoy victory, get The Word. How does faith grow? Luke 17:5-6 Faith increases by use. You must exercise your faith for it to grow. Faith must be in two places; 1. Your heart 2. Your mouth You must fill your heart and your mouth with faith . You must speak The word and believe it to activate the power of faith. Romans 10:9-10, 2 Corinthian 4:13 Mark 11:23 Speak faith, not what you see. Speak what God said to that situation in Your life. Don’t say what you see, say what you want. Meditation transfers the word you're reading from paper into your heart to build firm roots. "As you believe God's word, you begin to confess it into existence" - (2 Corinthians 4:13). 4. You must work the word. Speak the word. The world is created to respond to words. The world was created by words and is sustained by words - (Hebrews 11:3; John 6:63). ~Act on the word in obedience.  The word of God is alive. Work the word. See you tomorrow!

The Word of God should rise above any other thing in your life and rest your life will fall in place. Steps to being changed by God’s Word; 1.Hearing or seeing 2.Understand with your heart 3. Be converted 4. God will heal Matthew 13:15 - Whatever God says should be the final authority your life - (Matthew 13: 15 - 23). You should not debate God word. You obey God first before you understand why. You slogan as a Christian should be ‘what does the Bible say?’ Approach the word of God with an empty slate. Always bring you opinion, mindset and thinking under the word of God. - What you hear and see affects your outcome. Focus on getting The Word into your mind do not binge on the news and natural realities. Weed out those natural realities. Cut off all the natural source of natural information - (Psalm 1:1). - Every word is a seed. When you are working with The word, you will be ever green. You will produce in all seasons - (Psalm 1: 2-3). Always meditate on God’s word, digest it. - You  must aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and  all evil speakings for God’s word to work in your life. (1 Peter  1:23-25, 1 Peter 2:1-2) - Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and  superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted  word, which is able to save your souls - (James 1:21). - For the  word to work, what you are not listening to is as important as what you  are listening. A little wrong information can corrupt you faith. - Change comes from the inside out. You must first align your mindset and there shall be a physical manifestation.

Today's Focus: More than Miracles ~ God planned that we will live by the blessing, not by miracles. ~ The ways of God are superior to the acts of God because it is His ways that produce His acts - (Psalm 103:7) ~ The signs and wonders follow us. We're not to follow signs and wonders - (Mark 16:17). 12 Reasons We Shouldn't Live By Miracles  1. For you to need a miracle, you must first have a crisis.  Live in the blessing where the crisis is even avoided. Healing is beautiful, but health is better - (3 John 1:2; 1 Peter 2:24). 2. When it is a miracle,  you can't reproduce it at will. But the blessing can be reproduced because it is built upon God's principles.  3. When it is a miracle,  it can never be for everyone. But the blessing is for everyone.  4. Miracles are never under your control. They occur as the Spirit leads.  5. Miracles are not a sustainable way of life. Some breakthroughs are once in a lifetime,  the rest will be common sense and judgement.  6. Miracles never give abundant supply. They give limited supply for the need at hand. The blessing creates abundance - (Proverbs 10:22) 7. Miracles pushes responsibility, while the blessing requires responsibility. 8. Miracles cover only one area. The blessing covers all areas. 9. Miracles draw attention  to the man of God while the blessing keeps attention on the God of man.  10. A miracle mindset makes us passionate about things instead of being passionate for God. 11. When you're focused on miracles,  you can't grow spiritually. You focus only on what God can give you,  never on what you can give God - (Matthew 11:28-29) 12. Miracle mindset leads to spiritual prostitution.  Everything you need is in God's word. His blessing is contained in His word. Sit in one place and study God's word.  Have a great week ahead and continue to walk in the blessing!

Series: Blessed Not Stressed Topic: More Than Miracles Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo The hardship going on the world is not for you. Do not participate. As believers, we are not meant to live by miracles God never intended us to live by miracles. Miracles are not for us. There’s something more than miracles. Genesis 1:26-28 God designed us to live by the blessing not by miracles. God will never curse his people. He never cursed his people. Signs and wonders were not designed for Christians. Genesis 3:17 It’s never God’s plan that we work to eat. Adam was working for a meaning not just to pay bills. People that work for a meaning get paid twice - in cash and in fulfillment. You are blessed and not stressed. You’re not meant to stress for any natural thing. Proverbs 10:22. Miracles are not God’s best. They are so limited. They are not the staple of a believer. Throughout scripture, when God wants to use someone, He doesn’t do a miracle for them, He blessed them. Genesis 12:1-2 When you work in the blessing, you become a Blessing. It’s a better way to live than chasing miracles. Genesis 12:3 Meaning of The Blessing- This is God empowering you. It means having God’s goodwill and His good deeds behind you. It means God is your sponsor. The Blessing is superior to money but money is part of the Blessing. The Blessing is having all of heaven’s support and resources with you. Christ died for us to bring us to that point where we carry the Blessing of Abraham, not Adam. The blessing of Adam had conditions but for the blessing of Abraham, you connect by your Faith. Galatians 3:13-14. You cannot be poor. The thing that can make you poor does not exist. Stand in the Blessing line, not in the begging line!
