- It Still Doesn't Make Sense
Dec 23, 2024 • 53 min
When trusting God through dry seasons, you MUST remember that His methods won’t always make sense to you! Elijah’s encounter with the starving widow in 1 Kings shows how our breakthrough often comes when we respond to God’s real-time instruction, regardless of how unusual His solution may seem. Sometimes His plans will require you to step out of your comfort zone. But if you give Him your trust, you’ll see Him make miracles out of the most miserable of circumstances! Just as the widow’s poverty was transformed into provision, God wants to show YOU that His promises are greater than your challenges, whether you completely understand them or not. - The Life of Jesus: Worship, Grief, Restoration & Community
Dec 23, 2024 • 1h 19m
In a special Christmas message, several pastors at The Potter’s House of Dallas reflect on what the life of Jesus means to us through worship, grief, restoration, and community. Dr. Oscar Williams invites us to see worship as an active pursuit of God’s glory, much like the three wise men who journeyed far to honor the newborn King — not for what He had done, but for who He is. Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts relates how, for some, the holiday season can be a time of grieving. The compassion of Christ, revealed in Luke 7, reminds us that He came to comfort and bring hope to the brokenhearted. Pastor Don Johnson shares how Jesus also came to bring restoration and renewal. Through the story of Mary and Elizabeth, we see the miraculous fulfillment of God’s promises in their lives. Lastly, Pastor Touré Roberts discusses how we build community through our kingdom relationships. This season, we celebrate the gift of meaningful connection with Him and each other. - I Got It All Back
Dec 19, 2024 • 56 min
Adversity tries to rob us of our voice, our identity, and the life God promises us. But don’t let the enemy steal your sound. Jesus’ encounter with the 10 lepers in Luke 17 reminds us that we must not let the shame of our dysfunction silence us. You have to make a sound to be seen. The Lord hears your cries and wants you to use the mustard seed of faith He’s already given you to move forward. Even when you can’t see evidence of God’s promise, speak out in faith and thanksgiving for He is making you whole. Let the devil know that despite your circumstances, you’ve got your voice back! - Broken Open
Dec 16, 2024 • 1h 5m
When we let life’s wounds dictate our direction, we can become so guarded that we forget how to be vulnerable before the Lord. As a result, we wear ourselves out operating on our own strength — while the life we long for continues to elude us. It might sound counterintuitive, but the solution is found in acts of destruction. You must destroy your old self to chase and embrace divine intimacy above all. In Genesis 32, Jacob’s wrestling match with God reminds us how critical it is that we open our hearts to Him to experience the power of true transformation. After that overnight fight, Jacob realized he had become someone completely different! That same power still exists today. And once you submit to it, you’ll be empowered to be the person that God sees you as, entitling you to all the beautiful blessings He has in store for you! - It Doesn’t Always Make Sense
Dec 13, 2024 • 57 min
How God chooses to provide for us may not always make sense. But once we find our place of covering and connection, our job is to remain where God planted us so we can be fruitful in all things! Look to 1 Kings 17, which unfolds the story of Elijah being fed by ravens. The text reminds us that we may not always understand the process, but following God along our private journeys always leads to His miraculous provision. Remember, when God has something for you; sometimes you have to wait on it. - Wise as a Serpent - Pastor Touré Roberts
Dec 9, 2024 • 1h 18m
The situations we complain about often result from not using what God has already given us. Like the unjust steward in Luke 16, our lives can recover from seasons of stagnation and waste when we recognize how to leverage the gifts God has given us. Now more than ever, the church is called to be more. As we discern what God is doing in this season and take inventory of our lives, we will be challenged and stretched to embrace the great exploits assigned to us. Dig deep and seek the Lord, for He will show you how to multiply what you already have within. - Winner Takes All
Dec 6, 2024 • 1h 1m
In Luke 13, Jesus encounters a woman who was bound by a spirit of infirmity for 18 years. Her bent spine was extremely deformed, and the debilitating condition affected her not only physically, but also socially — as she was seen as “unclean” and ostracized. However, Jesus saw the woman, called to her, and mercifully declared that she was “loosed,” granting her liberation. By healing her on the Sabbath, Jesus also bent the rigid rules of the day and angered the powerful leader of the synagogue. Did you know that He is still the same today? Jesus loves you no matter what! And He’ll go on the offensive to free you from your iniquities and grant you an abundant life on earth with an eternity in heaven. Technically, the victory has already been achieved. You just have to claim it and walk in your kingdom inheritance. - The Problem With A Promise
Dec 2, 2024 • 55 min
God is the definition of a “promise keeper” — in His holy perfection, He cannot lie or break His word. So when we hold up our end of the agreement, He ALWAYS delivers without fail. Unfortunately, we often get distracted, lose faith, and abandon the promises when they don’t align with what we see in the present. Other times, we become so focused on the promises themselves that we lose sight of the One who fulfills them! Take inspiration from Moses in Exodus 33. He valued and sought God’s presence more than His promise to deliver the Israelites. There is nothing greater. Depression, poverty, trauma, fear, and sickness are all diminished in the presence of God because it’s more powerful than ANYTHING we’re up against. And once we begin to walk in this understanding and prioritize our relationship with Him, we will experience true freedom — just like Moses. Even though we are blessed by God, our lives will not always make sense. Life’s unexpected turns call for us to embrace what makes us extraordinary, to think differently from the norm. - Spit Me Out
Nov 22, 2024 • 48 min
Poor decision-making can often leave us in situations where we feel hopelessly trapped — but Jonah chapter 2 shows that God still hears our prayers even in our deepest moments of despair. While fleeing God’s assignment, Jonah was thrown overboard during a savage sea storm and found himself entombed in the belly of a great fish. But instead of just wallowing in his lowly state, he called on the Most High with a heart of repentance, acknowledging his mistakes and recognizing God’s mercy. He declared, “Salvation comes from the Lord,” and fully surrendered to God’s will. In response, he was liberated and given a second chance, resulting in 120,000 Ninevites being saved! So, no matter how far you’ve fallen or how impossible things seem, remember Jonah, and know that God can redeem and renew YOU too — but He might not have to if you choose obedience in the first place. - God Is Undoing the Damage
Nov 18, 2024 • 54 min
In Acts chapter 20, Paul’s lengthy sermons took an unexpected turn when a young man named Eutychus fell asleep and plummeted to his death from a third-story window. But what could have been a moment of tragedy became a powerful demonstration of God’s restorative grace instead. Paul went down and threw himself on the man’s dirty, broken body and embraced him, declaring him yet alive! This moment illustrates that even during our lowest points, God still has the power to resurrect and refresh. It’s a call to stay disciplined and expectant, knowing that even our missteps can be used for His magnificence. God doesn’t keep track of our many mistakes, but the scars they leave serve as a testament to what we’ve overcome with His help. So stay focused and keep pressing forward, knowing that God loves you and He is constantly undoing the damage caused by yourself and others! - Kingdom Attitude: Attitude for Access
Nov 15, 2024 • 1h 5m
Instead of trying to reshape God’s Word to fit our own understandings, we need to reframe our mindsets to align with His Word. The ancient Israelites learned this the hard way as they roamed the parched wilderness after their Egyptian exodus. Since they allowed their emotions to get them off track, they began to wander both mentally and literally. Together, they nurtured seeds of self-reliance, doubt, and discontentment — which developed into a bitterness that led to them losing access to God’s promises. Today, when you find yourself wandering in a wilderness, recognize it for the opportunity that it is! - A Shovel and a Sword - Pastor Touré Roberts

In Nehemiah 4, the Israelites unified to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem despite intense opposition from surrounding enemies. While they worked vigilantly on the massive construction project, they also had swords strapped to their sides in case they had to defend the city at the same time. Similarly, there is still Kingdom work to be done here on earth, but keep in mind that this world is not our home. Jesus will return to claim His church – and that church is not to be disjointed but one unified body. So, in a season of rising discord between communities, states, and nations, it is critical that the body of Christ press forward in one accord, exercising full faith in God’s ultimate plan. We must remember that division is a decision — and so is unity! Nov 8, 2024 • 55 min
We all fluctuate between strength and weakness in our humanity. The war between our higher spiritual self and lower carnal nature draws us near to God, reminding us of our deep need for His grace. 1 Peter 2 declares that God has destined you to be an example of His glory on Earth. Therefore, you must be intentional in choosing to feed your spirit while denying your flesh. Remember, God never disqualifies you because of your character flaws. Just as God forgave the apostle Peter his many inconsistencies, Jesus shows us how His grace overcomes sin, His provision fills lack, and His promises outweigh our disappointments! - On Your Marks, Get Set, Go - Pastor Touré Roberts

Will you get caught up in the world’s depravity or will you prevail with the glory of God’s kingdom? As believers, we must not allow darkness to distract or deflate our hopeful expectation in God. Isaiah 9 reminds us that Jesus has given us access to His kingdom of unending peace. As God’s representatives, we are called to walk in spiritual authority and release the gifts within us. When we embrace our role as God’s reformers on Earth, we begin to exchange false, religious forms of godliness for heaven’s true power. Don’t be disappointed by delay. God wants to stir up the fire of revival in your life and launch you into your calling. - Powerful Prayers for the Church, Nation, and More: Corporate Prayer Service
Nov 2, 2024 • 1h 46m
In these times of global turmoil and divisiveness, the power of prayer has never been more critical. During this special Wednesday Night Bible Study, our TPH Dallas family united in heartfelt prayer for the church, our country, and our communities. Rooted in Ephesians 4:1-6, we prayed for unity and resilience, lifting our government officials in prayer for wisdom and integrity. We asked God for peace across all nations, healing in families, and renewed purpose for the next generation, covering them all in God's protection. We also uplifted our kingdom business leaders, calling for vision and faith-led influence in their endeavors. This meaningful evening showcased the strength that arises when we seek God together. - Purpose in my Prison
Oct 28, 2024 • 1h 17m
Behind every hardship lies a profound purpose. In Ephesians 3:7-12, we see that, even from his prison cell, Paul embraced his calling to share God’s grace with others. Rather than dwell on the chains that bound him, he focused on his divine mission. Our own “prisons” and struggles often unveil a deeper purpose that God is working through us. Each challenge refines us by building strength and resilience for His plan. So when life overwhelms you, remember God has equipped you with unique gifts for a reason. Transform every obstacle into an opportunity for praise — for He is guiding you toward a greater purpose and orchestrating everything for good! - What Are You Eating
Oct 25, 2024 • 49 min
God has the ability to speak things into existence — and being created in His image and likeness, you have that ability too. Remember Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” So it’s important to watch what you say. In addition to having powerful impact, your conversation also reveals the health of your mind and spirit. It is a reflection of your thoughts and beliefs as well as what you consume. Don’t forget that Adam and Eve brought sin into the world when they chose to eat fruit from the wrong tree. So it is imperative that you carefully consider what you’re feeding your soul. Are you filling yourself with poison, or are you nourishing yourself with that which is righteous? Message: “What Are You Eating?” Scriptures: Proverbs 18:20-21 (NKJV) Speaker: Dr. Oscar Williams Date: Oct. 23, 2024 #DeathAndLifeAreInThePowerOfTheTongue #Proverbs18 #BibleStudy #WhatAreYouEating ✝️ Welcome to your divine appointment with destiny!
