The fulfillment of our dreams and the opportunities God has for us require the birth of a new identity. We must break free from the illusion that we can achieve our life goals without transformation. Throughout scripture, altars are sacred spaces where God connects with humanity and where transformation begins. God established the altar as a place for us to surrender pride, fear, and self-will in His presence. Trouble is part of life, no matter how much we try to avoid, minimize, or control it. The key to facing it is learning God’s prescribed response to it. Salvation doesn’t exempt us from suffering — struggles are part of the human experience. Often when we face adversity, we want a timeline — an expiration date — for when we’ll be delivered from our trials and things will turn around. We struggle because the stress of uncertainty leads us to worry and worship at the same time, questioning when God will show up. But God purposefully and lovingly tailors His methods of deliverance to each of us as unique individuals. Knowing who Jesus is gives us the confidence we need to overcome in this world. Jesus never promised us a life without problems. We all face temptations, but God provides a way of escape. We are living in a time when understanding our relationship with God’s kingdom is critical. Pastor Touré Roberts reveals that Matthew 4:17 is not about a distant, unreachable realm but about God’s kingdom being near—dwelling within us. However, the enemy constantly distracts us, leading many to chase after temporary solutions instead of eternal promises. As we immerse ourselves in God’s Word and presence, He resolves the very issues we tend to worry about. He is a good Father who has already supplied everything we need. Our goal is to seek and find, ask and receive, knock and open the doors to God’s promises. Jesus has given us His authority as the key to all blessings. When we understand our identity in Christ, we step into a new spiritual reality, walking in the confidence of His kingdom. Many people think of love as just a feeling—but what if it was the clearest sign of your faith?
