Bill Johnson teaches how to overcome your enemy and take ground in the spirit realm. Jesus sent His disciples out with spiritual authority and when they returned He declared that He had seen “Satan fall like lightning”. Jesus has filled us with His Holy Spirit and commissioned us with the same power and authority to see His Kingdom come and people delivered and set free from the burdens of pain, hopelessness, and sickness. Jesus taught that when a person is delivered, if they are not then filled with the Holy Spirit, the demonic comes back seven times worse. Maintaining our first love for God is what keeps the door closed to the demonic in our lives. We must not become complacent in our relationship with God, but continue to take ground in the Spirit. California was once known as the birthplace of several powerful revivals, and it is time for it to be restored again to its original calling and purpose in God. 0:00 How to Pursue and Step Into Your Promised Land (Lessons From the Wilderness) Bill Johnson teaches lessons from the Israelites journey through the wilderness and how to pursue your own promised land. Unbelief caused the Israelites to wander in the wilderness for 40 years because they did not join their faith to the word of the Lord. God has given you promises, but in many situations it will take your agreement in faith for it to come to pass. Gods promises are “yes and amen”. He has already declared the “yes”, and waits for your “amen”; your agreement with what He has said. To walk in Jesus’ footsteps requires a pursuit of all that He has made available to you through the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit in you is more than enough to meet people in their place of need and introduce them to a good and perfect Heavenly Father. It’s up to you to pursue an anointing for breakthrough and co-labor with God to see His Kingdom bring light to even the darkest places. Bill Johnson teaches from the life of King Hezekiah on what to do when you can’t sense God’s Presence. It is easy to follow God when you are experiencing His Presence and feeling inspired, but will you stay true to Him when that sense of purpose and fulfillment lifts? King Hezekiah was a great reformer in the Old Testament. In a later season of Hezekiah’s life however, Scripture reveals that God withdrew from Hezekiah to see what was in his heart. During that season Hezekiah became complacent in the blessing God had given him and his relationship with God became routine. Manasseh, his successor, went on to become perhaps the most evil king in Israel’s history. God’s promise is that He would never leave you, but there are seasons when His manifest Presence might not be as evident. Maintaining your first love is key to remaining faithful to God in both seasons where everything is going well and difficult seasons.
